Lydia is 3 months old

Lydia is 3 months old! She's a little peanut, weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces. We've tried many approaches to try to resolve her spit-up problem: medication, diet changes, the chiropractor, various formulas...but it seems as though our best option might just be to buy some stock in Tide and endure it.
Lydia is very alert and you never have to guess how she is feeling. If she's happy, she's glowing. If she's not, she lets you know about it! She is rolling over from her tummy to her back and starting to show a little more interest in toys. But mostly she likes to be carried around by her Momma, and since she hangs out in a pouch much of the day, I've started calling her Little 'Roo.

I am VERY happy to announce that Lydia is no longer sleeping with me, thanks to a gracious friend who lent us their Amby bed. I cannot praise Amby enough!!! She's slept in it since the first night we tried it, and there have been no tears over the matter. It's a miracle!

  1. She's such an adorable peanut! Ah, the spit-up days - a formula change did help us, but it was always a struggle until she started solids. I still remember the day that included five wardrobe changes for both of us - it was awful! Glad the Amby is working so well for you - if I am ever brave enough to have another newborn I will be trying that for sure (checked into them this last time around, but not early enough for it to make sense for us).

    She sounds like a sweetie!

  3. She is so pretty with those huge eyes!! We had trouble with reflux with our oldest son. I think Tide and Spray & Wash should issue rewards cards for parents of babies! :)
