spotlight on Lydia

A little spotlight on Lydia-

Unlike Brett, I always have to talk Lydia into going outside, but once she's out, she always has fun.  These pictures were taken a few weeks ago, the ice rinks are closed now.  It is currently 12 degrees, but we have had some warmer days.

Lydia (and Reggie) took her first no-parent-in-pool swimming class this winter.  She did a great job! It was really nice to have them both in the same class.
Lydia is really motivated to learn in preschool.  In the above video, she is reading a book she has never seen before!  We have a temporary dinosaur exhibit at the Children's Museum.  I thought it was really interesting that Lydia found the pretend baby dinosaurs in their nests and imagined the adult dinosaurs mothering their babies, while Reggie's dinosaurs were fighting!
Lydia loves preschool, but she is really looking forward to kindergarten.  It was fun to have Brett "take" her to kindergarten registration night and show her around.
