Brett is 15 months old

Brett is 15 months old! He weighs 24 pounds and has 8 teeth. He finally took his first steps when he was 13.5 months old and started really walking a few weeks ago. This new stage is a welcome one, because I am looking forward to him walking more and more, so I only have one baby to carry around!

Brett's favorite things to do include reading books, playing catch, "hiding", and throwing things down the stairs. He likes "helping" with his sister. But he tends to find trouble when Mom is preoccupied with Lydia.

We have started letting Brett feed himself things like oatmeal. Messy!

It is fun to see his receptive language grow. He can do things like, "Point to the sunshine," in a book, and will start for the stairs when I say it is time for his nap. We think he is starting to say a few more words - "banana", "light", "Lydia" - but that is still very subjective!

Getting Brett to pose with his football has gotten a little more challenging!
