When Bryan became a Packer season ticket holder a few years ago, we wanted to make a big deal out of the kids going to games. It has always been a big deal when Bryan had the opportunity to go to a game, so we wanted our kids to recognize what a treat it is. We decided each kid would get to go to their first game in the season of their 10th birthday. This makes it a sort of coming-of-age celebration! The first kid got this honor on September 24th.
With my brother-in-law Chad's tickets, we have eight. Attending this game with Brett was Bryan, my cousin Matt, Papa, and family friends Mike, his son Greg and wife Amy, and their son, Tyler. Going to the game was a whole day event. First there was the four hour drive. Then there was the parking and tailgating.
Uncle Adam tailgated but didn't go to the game.
Brett and Tyler played some games before the big game.
After lots of eating and hanging out, it was finally time to enter the stadium. It was 89 degrees at kickoff, the hottest game in Lambeau Field history.

Time to eat again.
The Packer's pulled off a victory in overtime against the Bengal's, making this a great day to be in Green Bay!
